Junk Hauling in Hollywood, FL: What We Take and Can't

Unbranded utility truck carrying bulky materials for removal

Before you book junk hauling, it helps to know what goes on the truck, what doesn't and how the price is set. This is how it works with us in Hollywood and nearby cities.

What we haul

  • Furniture: couches, sectionals, recliners, beds and frames, dressers, tables, office chairs, patio sets.
  • Mattresses and box springs.
  • Appliances: fridges, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves, window and portable AC units.
  • Garage and shed junk: boxes, shelving, bikes, exercise equipment, old toys and tools.
  • Yard and patio items: grills (take the propane tank off first), planters, outdoor furniture.
  • Renovation debris: drywall, cabinets, tile, lumber and packaging. Concrete and brick are priced separately.

What we can't take

We don't take hazardous waste: paint and chemicals, asbestos, fuel and medical waste. Broward County runs household hazardous waste drop-off options for residents; check the county's solid waste site for current locations and dates. If you suspect asbestos in old flooring or ceilings, have it tested by a specialist before any tear-out.

Not sure about an item? Send a photo and ask.

How the price is set

Pricing is by how much space the load takes in the truck, plus a few posted add-ons:

  • Furniture and appliance pickups from $149.
  • Household loads from $175 for the first cubic yard, then $85 per extra yard.
  • Mixed renovation debris from $225 for the first cubic yard, then $95 per extra yard; concrete and brick from $275.
  • Mattress or box spring +$35; fridge, freezer or AC unit +$75; stairs +$50 to $100; elevators or long carries +$50.

Text a photo and we send a range. On pickup day we check the load against the photo and confirm the final price before anything goes on the truck.

How to get ready

  1. Group it. Put everything in one place if you can, or mark what goes and what stays.
  2. Empty and unplug appliances a day ahead.
  3. Tell us about access: stairs, elevator hours, gate codes, where a truck can park.
  4. Pull out anything you want to keep or donate. We remove what you point at.
